If you like drones or know someone special who would love to learn how to fly a drone, then this is your program.
Let’s talk more about the program below!
About the Sugu’s STEM-based Drone Design and Build Program
In Sugu’s STEM-based Drone Design and Build Program, students integrate computer engineering technology with the latest approach to electronics, programming, and robotics. Certified drone pilots, mechanical engineers, and airline pilots help students learn and master the functionality of drones through complete hands-on workshops.
In addition, students examine how to integrate drone technology into everyday life and how these technologies will change our world. Afterward, participants get a light review and may opt to complete their basic drone certification for a discount.
Plus, students who participate in this program get a free drone at completion.
There are around 670 students (as of this writing) who Sugu has instructed. It’s a one-stop shop for drone career advancement.
Sugu also formed the Canadian Drone Pilot Forum in light of the significant expansion and advancement of the drone industry in Canada. Pilots can look for jobs and post inquiries to other pilots. There are more than 300 registered users. RPAS student mentors and resources are also available.
How Long Does Sugu’s STEM-based Drone Design and Build Program in Canada Take?
The standard course takes six days or 2 days in a modified accelerated format. Students learn what the drones are all about during training in 24 lectures. At the end of each event, they examine how drones can be used in a real-world scenario through experiments. What are the Learning Outcomes of the Sugu’s STEM-based Drone Design and Build Program in Canada?
Understanding of Drone Technologies
Students get to learn how drones can be used in society. They learn about many uses associated with uncrewed aerial vehicles and examine the changes it brings about first-hand before participating in their projects for class assignments.
Designing, Assembling, and Programming a Drone or Flight
By taking part in drone-related projects, you can modify Sugu’s STEM-based Drone Design and Build Program Ledger to get a similar design made by your own choice. If they wish to program them themselves, they understand how it involves different electronics and programming skills that suit today’s job market.
Improve Teamwork Skills through Collaboration
Students are always expected to cooperate since they all take different classes, so the students know how to work well together. The drone-related projects in class also get experience working independently, while some may find jobs faster after graduation.
